Dialog Abadi: Ṣadrā, Nietzsche, Rūmī, dan Pencarian Makna
Di sebuah ruang imajiner melampaui zaman, duduklah empat pemikir:
Mullā Ṣadrā dengan ajaran gerak substansial menuju kesempurnaan;
Friedrich Nietzsche dengan gema “Tuhan telah mati” dan kritiknya pada agama yang membelenggu;
Martin Heidegger dengan analisis manusia yang terlempar di dunia; serta
Jalāl al-Dīn Rūmī yang menyaksikan dengan mata hati.
Inti dialognya begini:
Nietzsche menggugat: “Agama adalah penjara!” Ṣadrā menjawab: “Tapi spiritualitas adalah sayap.” Dia menawarkan dua sayap kebenaran: akal yang jernih dan hati yang bercahaya. Bukan dogma yang membeku, melainkan pendakian jiwa menuju pengenalan hakiki.
Heidegger melihat manusia sebagai proyek yang berakhir dalam ketiadaan. Ṣadrā melihatnya sebagai perjalanan substansial menuju Sumber Eksistensi. Di sini, setiap perubahan diri bukanlah kesia-siaan, melainkan langkah terarah menuju makna.
Rūmī tersenyum dari sudut ruangan, berbisak lembut:
“Ada lilin di dalam hatimu, siap untuk dinyalakan. Ada kekosongan di dalam jiwamu, siap untuk diisi. Kau merasakannya, bukan?“
(“There is a candle in your heart, ready to be kindled. There is a void in your soul, ready to be filled. You feel it, don’t you?”)
Dialog ini bukan perdebatan siapa menang atau kalah. Ini adalah undangan untuk menyadari bahwa dalam diri kita telah tertanam potensi transenden. Pertanyaannya menurut Rumi:
“Dan kamu? Kapan akan memulai perjalanan panjang ke dalam dirimu sendiri?”(And you? When will you begin that long journey into yourself?”)

Although Jung’s overall approach was symbolic, his thinking becomes racist when he equates primitive states of mind (unconscious process) with so called ‘primitive’ people, seeing the psyches of black people as less developed and inferior to those of white people.
